In one photo, Ileana and Michael are shown sharing a tender moment with the caption “Happy birthday baby cakes.” Another picture features Michael swimming while Ileana records a video, with her caption reading, “You make everything better. I Love You.” Additionally, last week Ileana posted a heartwarming photo of Michael playing guitar for their son Koa, which quickly went viral on social media.
Ileana posted a black and white image of Michael sitting on a chair and strumming a guitar on her Instagram stories. He’s accompanied by Son Koa, who can be seen appreciating the music. The caption said, “BRB, My ovaries just exploded….” She recently expressed on social media how much she is missing her husband Michael Dolan. Ileana explained that she watched through all of these beautiful recordings when she was missing him and shared an old funny video.
Her Instagram fans recently asked her about her sleep habits in the midst of being a mother during an Ask Me session. Ileana told a tale about the difficulties she had maintaining a regular sleep routine as a new mother while considering the responsibilities of raising her child.
Ileana wrote, “Haha it’s mostly nonexistent. I don’t know how we, as full-time mamas, even function throughout the day. But we keep at it.”
When Koa Phoenix Dolan was born in August of last year with Michael Dolan by her side, Ileana D’Cruz fully embraced parenthood. The actress previously discussed the meaning behind naming her kid Koa Phoenix in an interview with ETimes. She shared, “I wanted to name my baby something unusual because I have a unique name, too. Koa somehow stood out. I spoke to Mike (Michael) about it, and even he found it cute. Phoenix is a name that’s been on my mind for a while. Also, the line ‘Rising from the ashes like a phoenix’ is inspiring. In fact, I got a tattoo of a phoenix in 2018, which had a deep meaning for me. Mike loved the name, and I hope Koa likes it too when he grows up.”
On the work front, Ileana D’Cruz’s most recent film was Do Aur Do Pyaar, where she starred alongside Vidya Balan, Pratik Gandhi, and Sendhil Ramamurthy. Directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta, the film was released in theatres on April 19, 2024.
