Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer The Buckingham Murders has finally hit cinema halls after the film was screened at several international film festivals. The film has already made a distinct mark on the hearts of the audience with its gripping trailer, leaving everyone curious about this mystery thriller. However, for Kareena, the film is indeed very special as she is not only making her debut as a producer but has also stepped into a full-fledged intense role. The actress recently shared a few unseen pictures from the sets of this Hansal Mehta directorial and penned an emotional note describing that she is very proud of her choice to do this film.

Taking to her social media, Kareena Kapoor Khan dropped some BTS stills from the sets of The Buckingham Murders, capturing some intense and candid moments from the film’s shoot. She further penned the caption, “As an actor, it’s the choices one makes… And I am very proud of this choice Please watch this story and dive into my world of crime and drama… a dream I have always had to act in or produce one…but here I got the best of both worlds. Go find a screen #TheBuckingham Murders now in cinemas.” Readers would be aware that the film was shot extensively in Buckinghamshire in England in extreme cold climate. As for Kareena, the actress plays the role of a detective co-investigating a blooded killing case of a child while dealing with her own loss as a mother.
The Buckingham Murders features an ensemble cast which includes the likes of Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen along with Kareena Kapoor Khan. Directed by Hansal Mehta and written by Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker, it is a Mahana Films and TBM Films production, presented by Balaji Telefilms and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and first-time producer Kareena Kapoor Khan. The film released in cinemas on September 13.
