2 sisters found dead in murder-suicide, police say – MASHAHER


SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – The Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) is investigating an apparent murder-suicide that happened at a residence Sunday afternoon.

The CCPD says officers were called to a residence in the 100 block of Windfield Drive at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. When they arrived, they found two adult women dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

Witnesses on the scene said the deceased women were sisters. Witnesses said one sister entered the home, and shot the other sister before turning the gun on herself.

Autopsy results on both women are pending. The investigation is active and ongoing, however there is no additional information to be released at this time.
