Actor Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, recently discussed her approach to raising her children, particularly her younger son, Yashvardhan, in a protective environment. She shared that before Yash was born, she had a daughter who was born prematurely and did not survive. Sunita and Govinda also have a daughter named Tina.

In an appearance on the podcast Timeout with Ankit, Sunita mentioned that she has always been attentive to her children, never leaving them alone. She emphasized that she caters to all of Yash’s needs, ensuring his demands are met between caring for both Tina and Yash.
During the podcast Sunita said, “Yash is a little pampered because he is eight years younger than Tina. Before Yash, I had another daughter too, but she was premature and didn’t live. She was three months old when she expired; her lungs hadn’t developed. That is why I brought up Yash in a cocoon. I was scared. Now I have to fulfil all his wishes, but it’s fine.”
She also stated that she never delegated the responsibility of dropping and picking up her children from school to the maids. Sunita said, “I used to never leave my kids with the servants, adding that she is strict with Tina and Yash, even though they are now adults.
Sunita married Bollywood’s biggest star, Govinda, when she was just 18 years old in 1987. A year after their wedding, she gave birth to their daughter Tina. However, at her initial meeting with Govinda, she felt him to be “okayish.”
Sunita stated, “He was from Virar, and I was from Pali Hill. Who would have thought that we would fall in love and get married?”
Sunita and Govinda concealed their marriage for a year. In a previous interview with India Today, Govinda referred to their union as a “love cum arranged marriage” and revealed that they experienced frequent disagreements in the early days of their marriage.
