Rakul Preet Singh, who is currently amidst a long shoot for her upcoming film De De Pyaar De 2 alongside Ajay Devgn, shared her insights on discipline, work ethic, and success in a recent candid conversation. Speaking to Ranveer Allahbbadia for his Beer Biceps podcast, Rakul emphasized the importance of discipline in her life.
Rakul Preet Singh discusses her work ethic; says, “For me, discipline is number one”
In the interaction, Rakul Preet Singh said, “I mean, for me, discipline is number one. I feel that if I am sleeping at 2 o’clock every night and I am waking up at 10 o’clock in the morning, how can I expect that the universe will give me anything that I want you to start living a life that I am in a routine. I am waking up at 6:00 in the morning, going to work, putting in effort. That will happen. The universe will make it happen.”
Rakul further discussed the significance of being prepared to receive the kind of work one desires. “If you are not prepared to receive the kind of work you want to do, then you will never get it,” she explained. She also touched upon the mindset of living as if one has already achieved their goals, stating, “Like it is said, that always live like you already got it… but I did not know all this, I got to know all this later. But thanks to my army upbringing, my lifestyle was that and then I also feel it is very important not to be delusional. Say very good things that you should not be lazy and I was not even with myself. You know maybe people will feel that it is very easy to sit and say this, but if someone gave me a constructive criticism then accepting that- yes, maybe I was not good…”
Rakul’s commitment to her craft and her disciplined approach clearly reflect her dedication to achieving her goals. Coming to her recent work commitments, Rakul recently shared screen space with the Tamil megastar Kamal Haasan and Siddharth in the pan Indian action drama Indian 2. The actress is also expected to be a part of the third instalment, i.e. Indian 3. Meanwhile, she is currently focusing on wrapping up De De Pyaar De 2 which not only stars Ajay Devgn but also R Madhavan as her father. The actress also has Meri Patni Ki Remake with Bhumi Pednekar and Arjun Kapoor in the pipeline.
