‘Shark Tank’ Names Kind Snacks’ Daniel Lubetzky as Regular Investor – MASHAHER

Daniel Lubetzky, the founder of Kind Snacks, is joining “Shark Tank” as the series’ first new regular investor in more than 10 years.

Lubetzky joins Season 16’s panel of regulars — which includes Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, Kevin O’Leary — after serving as a guest shark in Seasons 11 through 15. In his previous appearances on the show, Lubetzky’s investments have included Yellow Leaf Hammocks, FitFighter, Tandm Surf, Toast-It and HummViewer.

Along with Kind Snacks, which he founded in 2004 and sold to Mars in 2020, Lubetzky is the founder of the Builders Movement, a civic initiative he launched alongside Liev Schreiber, Katie Couric and Lonnie Ali. Additionally, he runs the investment company Camino Partners.

“Shark Tank” is produced by MGM Television in association with Sony Pictures Television. Executive producers include Mark Burnett, Clay Newbill, Yun Lingner, Max Swedlow, Phil Gurin and Brandon Wallace alongside Cuban, Corcoran, Greiner, Herjavec, John and O’Leary. Season 16 debuts on Oct. 18.

“It’s an honor to be part of a production that continues to educate, entertain and unite Americans behind the spirit of building together,” Lubetzky said in a statement. “I am so excited to be part of this fun, hilarious, exceptionally smart cast and crew. Most of all, I am looking forward to partnering with entrepreneurs from all walks of life as they come to ‘Shark Tank’ for their chance to realize the American dream.”

“As a guest shark for the past five seasons, Daniel has earned his spot with the sharks,” said Newbill. “He is a self-made founder of a multi-billion dollar company, has all the qualities we look for in a shark, and possesses an authentic desire to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses. Daniel is a welcome addition to our panel and we look forward to working with him for many seasons to come.”
