LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A string of robberies in the Summerlin area ended with the arrest of three suspects at a local restaurant on Tuesday, according to Las Vegas Metro police.
While monitoring calls for service the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Fusion Watch center noticed a concerning pattern between two incidents and then a third robbery occurred in the same area.
Police later determined that the suspect met victims through an online selling platform, arrived in a black BMW with a license plate covered by rag, and sometimes accompanied by a blue Dodge Challenger.
The Fusion Watch Center was then able to identify the BMW’s concealed license plate and entered a hot plate alert. Both vehicles were located at a restaurant within three hours of the third incident with the help of several LVMPD area command centers, according to police.
Three suspects were arrested, two firearms and the two vehicles were recovered from the scene, police stated in a post on social media Wednesday.
