Today, the Los Angeles Kings opened their training camps for the 2024-25 season. After which, members of the Kings met with the media, which is always fun to see.
When Kings’ captain Anže Kopitar met the media, he informed them that the Kings is changing their system from the 1-3-1.
This is great news for many Kings fans and players after it was a point that the players brought up at their end of season media availability.
During the end of season media day, Kevin Fiala mentioned that he would like to try a different system than the 1-3-1 style that they’ve been playing.
Now, thanks to Kopitar, he has revealed that the team is in fact going to use a different system under new bench boss Jim Hiller. However, no other system has been named at this time.
