The equation is simple for England – win on Sunday and keep the series alive, or lose and head to Bendigo with only pride to play for.

The Roses were blown off the court in Thursday’s game one, as Australia ran out 13-goal winners – and set the record for their most goals scored in a Test against England – in Adelaide.

The result left England coach Jess Thirlby with plenty to ponder after changing her entire line up just to find the right combination.

Australia meantime are riding the high of victory in a match that saw defender Rudi Ellis debut as Diamond #192.

Ellis retains her spot in the squad for Sunday’s second Test ahead of fellow rookie Ash Ervin.

Georgie Horjus misses out again as Amy Parmenter becomes the only change for Stacey Marinkovich’s side – at the expense of midcourter Jamie-Lee Price.

For England, they’ve made three changes for game two – one of those forced with star Eleanor Cardwell ruled out of the remainder of the three-Test series.

Cardwell had struggled in game one and was benched after just one quarter. Despite initial post-game confirmation Cardwell was fit enough to see out the series, the call was made less than 24 hours later to send the star back to England.

Berri Neil has been named as Cardwell’s replacement while Alice Harvey and Jess Shaw come in for Hannah Joseph

and Ellie Rattu.

Sunday’s game two will be played at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena, with the first centre pass from 4pm AEST.
