East Perth may have fallen short of ending a 22-year premiership drought but coach Ross McQueen couldn’t be prouder of the group after a fighting performance.
The Royals were outclassed by Peel who ran out 14.8 (92) to 8.11 (59) winners but McQueen and his Royals side can’t be accused of not trying everything to get over the line.
