The much-awaited Hotstar Specials’ Taaza Khabar is back with its season 2 as Vasya’s destiny and his vardaan will be challenged by the powerful Yusuf Akhtar leading to risking his life yet again along with his loved ones. With the news of the show returning to Disney+ Hotstar surrounding the nation, Shriya Pilgaonkar opened up about her working relationship with co-star Bhuvan Bam. She highlighted how close they have become during the shoot of the latest season and that fans can expect Madhu and Vasya’s bond to reflect on-screen better than ever before.

Reflecting on their collaboration, Shriya Pilgaonkar shared, “Bhuvan and I are good friends. I have a deep affection for him, and just like Madhu is protective of Vasya, I feel protective of Bhuvan. We’re close friends, and I think that bond off-screen reflects on-screen. I’m excited to see how the audience responds to the evolution of their relationship. There’s a lot of sweetness and fun banter between them, but in the end, they are like family to each other. They’ve always been very honest, even though they are quite different.”

Speaking about the show, it is a tale of miracle and magic that led Vasya to a journey of greed and arrogance, but everything is questioned leaving everyone wondering if it is all a façade. Audiences are excited to see how Vasya be able to fight it or will Vardaan support him this time again. Produced by Rohit Raj and Bhuvan Bam under the banner of BB Ki Vines Productions and directed by Himank Gaur, the series also stars the veteran actor Jaaved Jaaferi along with Shriya Pilgaonkar, Prathamesh Parab, Deven Bhojani and Shilpa Shukla in prominent roles among others. The ultimate quest for money and fame with a touch of comedy, Taaza Khabar Season 2 will premiere only on Disney+ Hotstar from September 27, 2024 onwards.
