A case has been lodged against Tamil actress Parvati Nair for allegedly assaulting her domestic helper, Subhash Chandra Bose. The actor recently appeared alongside Thalapathy Vijay in the film The Greatest of All Time. She has been charged under sections 296 (b), 115 (2), and 351 (2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) following Subhash’s complaint.

According to the news agency ANI, Subhash initially worked as a helper at KJR Studios before being asked to perform household chores at Parvati’s home in 2022. In his police complaint, he claimed that during his time at her residence, Parvati accused him of theft.
Previously, Parvati had filed a police complaint reporting that her laptop, watch, camera, and mobile phone had gone missing from her house. However, Subhash shared his version of events with the police, stating that after being released from custody regarding the theft case and returning to KJR Studios, Parvati came to the studio and slapped him. He also mentioned that she was accompanied by five others who verbally abused him.
Subhash filed a complaint at the Teynampet Police Station in Chennai. He stated that the police did not take any action, prompting him to approach the Saidapet 19th MM Court. Following the magistrate’s orders, an FIR was registered against Parvati and others, and the investigation is currently ongoing.
The actor has not yet issued a statement regarding the incident.
Parvati is recognized for her roles in films such as Poppins, Story Kathe, Yennai Arindhaal, Uttama Villain, and Nimir, among others. She also appeared in Ranveer Singh’s 83.
