For her recent appearance, Bhumi Pednekar chose a couture outfit from Georges Hobeika’s Spring 2024 collection. The actress wore a turtleneck, full-sleeved green top adorned with a black printed stripe. However, it was her skirt that truly stole the show.
Repurposed Rug Becomes a Fashion Statement
What appeared to be a classic wrap-around skirt had an intriguing backstory. Bhumi took to social media to reveal that the skirt was repurposed from a rug. She commented, “Tonight, what I love about this piece is that the skirt is repurposed from a rug.” This choice not only highlights her fashion-forward mindset but also aligns with her commitment to sustainable fashion.
Minimalist Accessories and Glamorous Makeup
To complement her unique skirt, Bhumi opted for green heels and kept her accessories minimal. Her makeup was impeccably styled with a glowy base, winged eyeliner, blushed cheeks, and pink lips. Her hair was left loose, adding to her effortlessly elegant appearance.
Besides her fashion choices, Bhumi recently grabbed the spotlight for reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan’s production banner, Red Chillies Entertainment. PinkVilla recently reported that Pulkit will once again take the director’s seat, with Bhumi Pednekar returning as the lead after Bhakshak. However, neither the director nor the actor have confirmed the speculations.
On the other hand, Bhumi is all set to make her series debut with Netflix’s The Royals. It is said to be a modern-day Indian royalty rom-com show. Directed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana, this project will also mark veteran actress Zeenat Aman’s Netflix debut.
