Geelong Cats Whacky Wednesday Mad Monday celebrations, Tanner Bruhn dressed as Sam McClure, Mark Blicavs as Harley Reid, Jeremy Cameron, Ollie Henry and Sam De Koning in Ferrari, pictures, video, latest news – MASHAHER
Geelong’s season may have come to an end in disappointing fashion last weekend, but its Whacky Wednesday celebrations have put a typically joyful spin on things.
The Cats, who were bowled out of this year’s finals series by Brisbane last Saturday, have again delivered with their post-season frivolities after Gryan ‘Lionel Messi’ Miers stole the show last year.
Players began arriving at the Wharf Shed in Geelong at 11am on Wednesday, with media and photographers capturing every head-turning outfit.

Among the early arrivals was Tanner Bruhn, suited up as Nine journalist Sam McClure and holding a sign saying: ‘they won’t pick him, Mitch’.
It is a reference to McClure’s incorrect prediction last year that the Eagles wouldn’t select Harley Reid.
Mark Blicavs played the role of Reid, donning an Eagles guernsey, while Max Holmes was dressed as Seven reporter Mitch Cleary — who co-hosts the Tradies podcast with McClure.
Holmes looked more than comfortable playing the role of Cleary on Wednesday.
Meantime, Jeremy Cameron — imitating Russell Coight — was up to his usual shenanigans, while Ollie Henry and Sam De Koning rocked up in a Ferrari in a hat-tip to Rush.
