Yuvraj admitted that he was going through a difficult phase in his career, having not performed well during the early matches of the tour. Trying to focus on the game, he had politely asked the actress not to visit him for a while. But much to his surprise, she traveled to Canberra to meet him, insisting on spending time together despite his busy schedule. Yuvraj humorously recalled, “I was like, ‘What are you doing here?’ And she was like, ‘I want to spend time with you.’”
A night of conversation and an unexpected mishap
The cricketer further shared that after a late-night conversation about their respective careers, the actress took the initiative to pack his suitcase for the next day. Little did Yuvraj know that her well-intentioned packing would lead to an awkward yet hilarious incident. On the morning of their departure, Yuvraj realized that his shoes were missing from the bag. In a last-minute scramble, the actress suggested he wear her pink slip-ons as a temporary fix.

Yuvraj hilariously described his embarrassment as he tried to hide his feet by holding his bag in front of him. “I had to wear those pink slip-ons, and the guys saw it,” he said, adding that his teammates clapped for him when they spotted the unusual footwear. He continued wearing the slip-ons until he managed to buy flip-flops at the airport, making it a story to laugh about later.
