DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — After months of being stuck in limbo, the Colonial Park Mall now has a new owner.
The mall in Lower Paxton Township was bought for about $8.8 million by 4600 Jonestown LLC on Sept. 13., according to public county records. Zi Qian Zhang was listed as the company’s representative in the sale.
Colonial Park Mall closed for fifth consecutive day following storm
The mall was supposed to be sold at an online auction in July after it was originally supposed to happen in late June but that fell through.
The sale does not include the Boscov’s, former Sears, or five other buildings on the property that were not owned by the mall’s previous owner, Kohan Retail Investment Group.

Shoppers and mall walkers have been without a place to go this week because the mall has been closed after being impacted by flooding from the weekend storms.
In 1960, the mall was built, and it is about 371,502 square feet in size.
