GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – A Green Bay man is facing over 15 charges and had his cash bond set at $50,000 following a drug investigation in Brown County.
According to a criminal complaint obtained by Local 5, 49-year-old Dennis Johnson was officially charged with multiple crimes related to drug possession and trafficking. The charges stem from multiple controlled buys from Johnson.
In some of the controlled buys, Johnson allegedly used ‘runners’ to deliver drugs on his behalf to try to avoid police detection. The complaint says that Johnson was the primary suspect in this investigation.

After the controlled buys, authorities executed a search warrant at a residence on North Webster Avenue on September 23. Johnson was eventually taken into custody and removed from the residence.

The complaint says that the items seized during the warrant are consistent with distributor amounts.
Authorities interviewed someone affiliated with Johnson who claimed that he was dealing drugs, according to the complaint.

Court records show that Johnson was in court for his initial appearance on September 25. He has his cash bond set at $50,000. He is scheduled to be back in court on October 4 for an adjourned initial appearance.
