Sony Pictures Television will unveil the hamburger joint, ‘Vought A Burger’ in Los Angeles, CA, from Oct. 11-13. Inspired by the universe of “The Boys,” this fast food establishment will be located at 8175 Melrose Ave. in West Hollywood, CA and be open from 3-8pm on Friday, 12-8pm on Saturday and 12-5pm on Sunday.
Visitors will find in-world food and beverages for purchase, such as the Big Homie burger, Golden Godolkin nuggets, the Seven Tower burger, Homelander’s Freedom Fries and more, as well as programming, exclusive merchandise and easter eggs from the three hit series. Fans attending the experience are also eligible to win Sony Electronics televisions, sound bars and more.
“The Boys,” “Gen V” and “The Boys Presents: Diabolical” are all streaming exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories.

HRTS will host its inaugural Disability Inclusion Workshop on Thursday, Oct. 10, from 11:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Amazon MGM Studios. The event, held in celebration of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, is in partnership with Easterseals and Amazon MGM Studios.
The workshop will highlight disabled talents and creatives behind Easterseals Disability Services’ new report, which touches on their 2018 award-winning special report with Variety, “Abilities Unlimited: How People with Disabilities are Helping Hollywood Win.”
Corporate member benefits and individual tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. A complimentary livestream will also be available.
The event will include a networking lunch, expert speaker panels and breakout group discussions led by panelists. Space is limited, and attendees must sign up for the breakout discussions. Topics of discussion will include:
- Whose job is it to ensure a work environment is as accessible as possible? Whose is it not?
- Why is intersectionality so important to discussing disability?
- How to prioritize hiring from the disability community across business units within the entertainment industry, both in front of and behind the camera.
- How can each of us support getting diverse disabled stories made, marketed and funded?

ITV Studios has appointed Katie Buchanan as executive vice president of Americas, global partnerships. She joins ITV Studios from A+E Networks and will will report to Tom Clark, executive vice president of Global Sales & Commercial Strategy in London.

New to the team are also Maria Ines Rodriguez, who joins as VP Sales US and Latin America, having recently held the position of VP SVOD Acquisitions at TelevisaUnivision (ViX) and prior to this SVP Content & Sales at Disney, and Eisha Fremerman, Senior Sales Manager US and Latin America who joins from QVC where she was a Streaming Programming Consultant and prior to that an Acquisitions Manager at Britbox.

Hulu announced Monday that it will premiere Chris Distefano’s next special as part of its new stand-up comedy strand, Hularious. The hour-long special titled, “It’s Just Unfortunate” will launch on Hulu and Disney+. It is executively produced by Jimmy Kimmel for Kimmelot.
Distefano sold out both the radio City Music Hall and the Theater at Madison Square Garden in two consecutive nights in 2023. His first special, “Size 38 Waist,” premiered on Comedy Central in 2019 and his second special, “Speshy Weshy,” premiered on Netflix in 2022. “It’s Just Unfortunate” will be his third, Hulu has not yet released a specific date for its premiere.
This is only the beginning as Hularious is planned to expand and include much more material. Including performances by the following comedians: Jim Gaffigan, Bill Burr, Ilana Glazer, Roy Wood Jr., Atsuko Okatsuka and Jessica Kirson. It will also have a curated collection of popular licensed past stand-ups. These include “800 Pound Gorilla,” “Comedy Dynamics,” and “Don’t Tell Comedy.” The program will premiere in November.
