Unbridled Management Founder Jason Davis Joins 5X Media – MASHAHER

Jason Davis, founder of Australian talent firm Unbridled Management, has joined Los Angeles-based management company 5X Media as a partner and manager.

Before joining 5X, Davis sold Unbridled in 2018 to join the Australian financial service Afterpay as a key strategic digital creator and celebrity brand amplification adviser. In his new role, Davis will work in brands, digital, film and television in the U.S. and internationally.

“Jason embodies our approach to borderless talent and brand representation,” said 5X co-CEOs Alon Shtruzman and Gil Goldschein in a joint statement. “He has built his career around this concept and will serve as an important strategic player on our team as we continue to build our global business.”

Davis brings with him a clientele list that includes actor, model and digital creator Presley Walker (“Woodbridge”); actress Luna Sofia Miranda (“Anora”) and actress and digital creator Eliana Ghen (“Cobra Kai,” “Dopesick,” “The Girl from Plainville”).

“From the moment I met Alon, Gil and [5X Executive Chairman Scott Einbinder], I knew they understood where the talent business is headed,” said Davis. “They all recognize changing dynamics across verticals have left creators in control of distribution standards for social channels, as well as traditional film and television storytelling platforms. All of them are now seeking out creative ways to cast, finance, promote and amplify great voices and art.”

Goldschein and Shtruzman both recently joined 5X as co-CEOs in April. Goldschein was previously CEO of Bunim/Murray, overseeing the development of series like “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” “Project Runway” and “The Real World.” Shtruzman was a founding CEO at Keshet International, selling and producing series such as “Echo 3” for Apple+ TV, “A Small Light” for Nat Geo/Disney+ and “La Brea” for NBC.
