WHITE HALL, W.Va. (WBOY) — Two people were charged after officers found more than a quarter of a pound of cocaine at a hotel room in White Hall.
On Sept. 30, officers with the White Hall Police Department executed a search warrant at a room at the Red Roof Inn, according to a criminal complaint. The room was being occupied by Benjamin Coffin, 50, and Brittney Jones, 32, at the time of the search, officers said.

During the search, officers located 123.5 grams (more than a quarter of a pound) of a substance which tested positive for cocaine, as well as $5,436 in cash and “several” sets of scales, according to the complaint.
Coffin and Jones have been charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. They are being held in North Central Regional Jail.
