Prince Harry ‘knows he is better on his own’ as duke and duchess continue professional separation – MASHAHER

Prince Harry “knows he is better on his own,” royal commentator Ingrid Steward has claimed.

She pointed out that there was “no point” in Harry taking Meghan to Lesotho in South Africa for his recent charity visit.

The duke has been increasing his solo engagements lately, including trips to New York and Lesotho and even a short visit to the UK.

Steward told GB News: “There’s no sign of Meghan because I think Harry knows that he does these things best on his own.

“I mean, there’s no point in him taking Meghan to Lesotho.”

She added: “Harry, or maybe his advisers have said to him, you need to raise your own profile and do it by doing what you do best, which is working with children and the disadvantaged. He’s always been brilliant at that.”

The commentator explained: “I feel that he needs to get out more because when he does speak, when he’s actually giving a talk, he’s very eloquent.

“From this Lesotho trip, I couldn’t quite get what he was trying to do.

“Maybe he was just trying to raise the profile of the charity, but much better for him to do it without his wife, because otherwise attention’s deflected onto her and what she’s wearing.”

Prince Harry recently returned to Lesotho for the first time in six years, visiting the Sentebale charity he co-founded in 2006.

During his trip, the duke met with Lesotho’s King, Queen and Prime Minister.

He participated in a “fireside chat” where he praised the charity’s work and called for “people from the top” to “start listening” to young voices.

Harry visited the Leribe region, meeting with international funders and locals at a health facility providing care to young people.

He also engaged with teenage girls and young women who have completed vocational courses through Sentebale’s programme.

A source told the Times that Harry wants to “leave behind the celebrity nonsense” and instead focus on becoming known as a “serious philanthropic player”. The insider added that the duke does not seek to reclaim his old role in the Royal Family.

These solo engagements align with reports of Harry and Meghan’s shift towards professional separation, following challenges in their joint ventures.

Recent reports suggest that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are heading towards leading “increasingly separate lives” professionally.

A source told Heat Magazine that Harry is likely to visit the UK “nearly every other month” to maintain ties with his home country and family.
