MOORESVILLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — All but one lane is closed following a deadly crash on Interstate 77 in southern Iredell County Monday afternoon.
According to the N.C. Department of Transportation, the incident occurred around 3 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, on I-77 North near Exit 31 (Langtree Road).
Four of the five lanes northbound lanes were closed, including toll lanes.

NCDOT footage shows several N.C. State Highway Patrol vehicles are at the scene. Troopers are asking drivers to avoid the area.
The road is expected to be cleared by 6 p.m.
