INJURED IN ROUND 12
The Dragons’ forward stocks took a big hit as starting prop Hame Sele had to exit the field in the first half.
Sele was seen clutching at his shoulder and pectoral area early on in the contest against the Bulldogs, but bravely soldiered on.
Fox League commentator Michale Ennis said Sele was “in serious trouble”.
However, the pain eventually became too much and Sele was forced off in the 14th minute and went straight up the tunnel.
Sideline reporter James Hooper later confirmed in the first half Sele was out for the remainder of the game with a right shoulder injury.
The Dragons’ injury woes grew when Jack Bird’s left ankle buckled when attempting to tackle Bronson Xerri late in the first half.
Bird was left writhing in agony and was taken off the field on a stretcher.
