Parliament breach: Three held for using fake identity cards to enter complex | India News – MASHAHER

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police on Friday informed that they have initiated an investigation and filed an FIR against three individuals who allegedly used fake Aadhar cards to gain entry into the Parliament complex on May 4.
The FIR says that one of the accused, Kasim, was using an Aadhar card belonging to Monis, a resident of Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. Monis, who was also among the three apprehended workers, presented the same identity card.
The third person, Soyab, had an identity card showing him as a resident of Hapur, Uttar Pradesh.
The trio attempted to enter the parliament complex using these identity cards while applying for a casual entry pass. The three individuals are believed to be employed by a contractor, the police said.
The Aadhar cards of Monis and Kasam bear the same number but with different photographs, suggesting that they may be forged, authorities added.
Soyab’s identity is currently under investigation. The incident occurred on the afternoon of May 4, and the FIR has been registered under Sections 419, 465, 468, 471, and 120 B of the Indian Penal Code.
The police have seized all three identity cards, and a comprehensive investigation is currently underway.
The incident also comes to light a day after Delhi Lt Governor V K Saxena granted prosecution sanction against six people, who were arrested for illegally entering parliament and throwing smoke canisters in the Lok Sabha last December.
