Kangana Ranaut wants to ‘normalise’ obsessive work culture: Don’t crib about Mondays – MASHAHER

Actor and MP, Kangana Ranaut believes ‘Monday Blues’ is a Western concept. She shared her thoughts on the Monday memes in her latest Instagram story. She stated that since India is a developing country, its people should not complain about work. The actor also emphasised that “obsessive work culture” should be normalised.

Sharing a video of PM Narendra Modi where he talks about making India a developed country by 2047, Kangana wrote on Instagram, “We need to normalise obsessive work culture and stop with waiting for the weekends and complaining about Mondays memes (sic).”

She continued, “That’s all western brainwashing; we are not a developed nation yet, and we can’t afford to be bored and lazy at all (sic).”

Kangana Ranaut expressed her views on Monday memes.

Kangana Ranaut has become only the fourth woman ever to be elected to Lok Sabha from Himachal Pradesh, and the first woman who is not from an erstwhile royal family. She defeated her Congress rival Vikramaditya Singh, scion of Rampur state and the incumbent state public works minister, by a margin of 74,755 votes from the Mandi Lok Sabha constituency.

During one of her interviews during the election campaign, Kangana was asked whether she will quit Bollywood if she wins the Mandi seat. Kangana responded in the affirmative and told Aaj Tak, “The film world is a lie, everything there is fake. They create a very different environment. It is a glossy world like a fake bubble which is to attract the audience. This is the reality.”

Meanwhile, Kangana’s much-awaited film ‘Emergency’ is yet to be released. The film saw multiple delays due to pending production work and clashing of release dates. Kangana, who is also directing and producing the film, is yet to announce the new release date for the film.
