WWE provides an update on Ricochet.
On the June 10 episode of WWE RAW, Bron Breakker attacked Ricochet backstage and slammed him onto a car. The former WWE Intercontinental Champion was then loaded into an ambulance, as it was clear that the beatdown left him in rough shape.
In a tweet on June 12, WWE announced that Ricochet would be out of action for “an undisclosed amount of time with upper body injuries” following the attack. No additional details were provided in the announcement.

Over the weekend, the former champion gave WWE notice of his intention to leave the company when his contract expires this summer. The Breakker attack was widely seen as WWE’s way of writing him out of WWE television. His departure has not been confirmed, and anything is possible, at least as of this writing.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
