You guessed it … Hyundai named its Kona SUV after a district on the big island of Hawaii, in line with the company’s tradition of giving certain models monikers based on acclaimed travel destinations — like Santa Fe and Tucson.
With Kona, it’s supposed to be all about fun, adventure and thrill-seeking activities, though I just took it to the shops — and up Great Eastern Highway to Gidgegannup along Toodyay Road.
