Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir have busted a terrorist hideout in the Sopore area of Baramulla district and recovered arms and ammunition from the spot, officials said on Saturday.
An anti-terror operation was launched by the Sopore police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) following information about a possible hideout in the Logripora area.
The recovered arms include one pistol, two magazines, 18 live pistol rounds, and one pistol pouch.
The officials said that the terrorists had used this hideout as a safe place to keep arms and ammunition to conduct terror activities, thereby disturbing the peace in the valley.
A case under relevant sections of the law has been registered and an investigation has been launched.
