Vicky Kaushal is generating excitement for his upcoming film Bad Newz with the release of a peppy song teaser featuring Punjabi singer Karan Aujla. The film, slated for a July 19 release, promises a fresh take on rom-com with its unique premise and a star-studded cast.

Vicky Kaushal took to Instagram to share a glimpse of the song ‘Tauba Tauba,’ showcasing him and Aujla grooving together while lip-syncing to the catchy tune. Both sport cool shades, adding a touch of swagger to the clip. The caption reads, “Sneak peek today… SONG OUT TOMORROW! #TaubaTauba…#BadNewz In cinemas 19th July!”
Directed by Anand Tiwari, Bad Newz boasts a lead cast of Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk. Neha Dhupia will also play a crucial role. Produced by Dharma Productions, the film’s title is a playful twist on the 2019 success Good Newwz, headlined by Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani.
The trailer sparked audience curiosity by revealing that Dimri’s character discovers she’s pregnant with twins, with two different fathers – played by Kaushal and Virk. This twist delves into the rare phenomenon of heteropaternal superfecundation, where twins are conceived from separate fathers.
Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Anand Tiwari, the film is all set to hit theaters on July 19, 2024.
