Summary: Temperatures continue to increase into the triple digits with southerly winds fueling humidity allowing temperatures to rise to heat advisory criteria. Temperatures are expected to remain warm through the 4th and drop into the 90’s to upper 80’s by this weekend thanks to a stalled front. Temperatures will rebound shortly after as a warm front will make way north into Texas. Heading into next week, it bears watching for the possibility of Beryl making impact either directly to indirectly to the state of Texas sometime next week with a hint at tropical showers by Monday. Sharan dust playing a role in the hazy conditions today as well as limiting the potential for another disturbance in the Caribbean.
