Classy type Luvnwar will be bidding to become the sixth filly this century to complete the Belmont Guineas-Oaks double in Saturday’s $125,000 Listed 2000m feature and give jockey Patrick Carbery redemption in the race.
Carbery, who guided Parc D’amour to victory in the 2007 edition of the Belmont Oaks, partnered Sheza Chalmer to victory in the 2021 Belmont Guineas before she started a $1.70 favourite in the Oaks a fortnight later.
