Taking to his Instagram handle, the actor reposted a fan’s post on his story wherein the latter is applauding it. The user posted a scene of Kartik swimming from the film along with his opinion on the film that said, “#murlikantpetkar @kartikaaryan?? BEST MOVIE?????? Must watch!!!! ??? #chanduchampion”. Kartik reposted the praising comment and along with that also reminded everyone of the film completing one month of its release. He wrote in the caption, “14thjune- 14thjuly Been a month of receiving so much love for this film… Thank you?” In the past, the actor has penned several notes about his emotions associated with his character and the film itself wherein he has asserted that this will be one of his most cherished roles in his career.

Jointly produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan, who also directed the film, Chandu Champion is biographical sports drama the brings forth the inspiring and motivating story of army man and boxer, Murlikant Petkar, who was awarded the Padma Shri in 2018. The film also stars Vijay Raaz, Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Sonali Kulkarni, Aniruddh Dave, among many others in key roles. The film released in cinemas worldwide last month, on June 14.
