Shraddha took to Instagram stories and shared a snapshot with the caption “Stree ki shakti uski choti mein hai aur aapki”. The tweet also includes another billboard with Shraddha’s photo with her father Shakti Kapoor and the words, “Kya shakti shakti laga rakha hai, is Stree ka bapu hai Shakti.” Amar Kaushik directed Stree 2, which stars Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi. Stree 2 will hit screens on August 15.
The trailer begins where the original film stopped. The town of Chanderi is haunted once more, but not by the spirit of Stree. This time, the citizens of Chanderi, including Rajkummar, Abhishek, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana, are on a journey to defeat a new monster. Tamannaah Bhatia is also featured in the trailer. It appears she is doing an item number. In the teaser, Pankaj Tripathi reveals the new menace to Chanderi’s people, ‘Sarkata’ (headless monster). Shraddha Kapoor steps in to defend them from the terror. The inhabitants of Chanderi pray to Stree this time, “O stree raksha karna,” rather than “O stree kal aana.” Fans immediately reacted to the trailer, calling it the best.
Stree was launched in 2018. It premiered to widespread critical acclaim and became a commercial triumph at the box office. The film’s music received a lot of attention, with songs like Milegi Milegi and Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe becoming chartbusters. The audience also remembers Kamariya, which featured a stunning Nora Fatehi, who drew a lot of attention with her motions on the track.
