The video featured Kajol alongside Saif Ali Khan, who was initially cast as the lead actor before being replaced by Kamal Sadanah. Sharing the clip, Kajol expressed her gratitude, writing, “32 years to Bekhudi and I’m thankful to say that I still have the same concerns and the same confidence #32yearsofbekhudi #thebeginning (sic).”
The mahurat shot of Bekhudi was a star-studded affair, graced by the presence of industry luminaries like Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh, Sunny Deol, and Yash Chopra. The film’s first clap was given by actress Amrita Singh, marking a significant moment in her relationship with Saif Ali Khan. The couple tied the knot in 1991 but eventually parted ways in 2004.
When Saif Ali Khan Spoke About Being Dropped From Bekhudi
Last year, during an episode of Koffee With Karan, Saif Ali Khan opened up about being replaced in Bekhudi. The actor revealed that director Rahul Rawail had initially signed Kamal Sadanah but later replaced him with Saif. However, due to perceived attitude issues, Saif was subsequently dropped from the project.
Speaking of the professional front, Kajol is all set to reunite with Prabhu Deva after 27 years for an action thriller Charan Tej Uppalapati. Meanwhile, Saif recently wrapped shooting for his next, titled Jewel Thief, directed by Robbie Grewal and produced by Siddharth Anand.
