Mrunal Thakur recently posted a video of her intense aerial stunt exercising. Taking to her Instagram handle she captioned “I BELIEVE I CAN FLY.” She demonstrated her skill by effortlessly hanging from fabric wrapped around her waist. The comments section was flooded with gratitude from followers who thanked her for the boost of inspiration.
Mrunal Thakur’s Instagram feed is full of inspirational videos like this one. She just released a video of her boxing routine. Rohit Nair, her fitness trainer, guided and encouraged her to learn the front punch and sidekick. In addition to boxing, she occasionally integrates yoga into her exercise plan.

Aside from her Instagram photos, Mrunal Thakur also made headlines for a recent interview with Audible. She claimed that she had to “beg for a role” in her upcoming film, Pooja Meri Jaan. “When I found out this film was being developed, I battled hard for the job, doing many auditions and screen tests. I literally had to beg for it. We shot it two years ago and intend to release it this year. I recall it was the last day of filming for Sita Ramam, and I had to fly the next morning for a screen test.”
Mrunal Thakur’s last big-screen appearance was in Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD. Despite her brief appearance in the film, she struck an impression with her genuine portrayal of a pregnant woman. The Family Star, in which she co-starred with Vijay Deverakonda, was her last film where she played a lead role. Her next film will be Vishwambhara, directed by Mallidi Vasishta. In addition to Mrunal, the film has Trisha Krishnan, Chiranjeevi, Janhvi Kapoor, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Kunal Kapoor in key parts. The film’s release date has been set for January 10, 2025.
