Tadoughs is adjusting hours at its Peoria and Pekin locations beginning Aug. 1.
Previously, the Pekin location – at 815 N. 8th St. – operated from 4 a.m. until 10 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Now, it will be open from 4 a.m. until noon.
Tadoughs’s new storefront at 7024 N. University St. in Peoria opened last December. The hours were listed from 5 a.m. until 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. After the update, the hours will be from 5 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The July 30 Facebook announcement garnered more than 250 reactions and a dozen comments. Many in the comments expressed excitement about the change.
The Peoria-area business is known for its potato-based Spudnut doughnuts. Its online menu features long johns, old fashioned, devil’s chocolate cake, Bavarian cream filled and more. Apple fritters and Bear Claws are also available.
