Drone footage captured on August 5 shows damage in Buffalo, New York, after a tornado tore through the city.
Richard Hulburd, who posts on social media as @weather_buffalo, took the footage after the tornado passed through. It shows damaged trees and buildings.
The National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed an EF-1 tornado had impacted Buffalo on Monday.
The NWS, which did not issue a warning ahead of the tornado, said: “Unfortunately for this tornado there was little to go off of on velocity data. This wasn’t a classic signature on radar type tornado.”
