These are the best NJ high schools, according to US News & World Report – MASHAHER

Eight New Jersey public high schools finished in the top 100 best in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report’s rankings, recently released, for the 2024-2025 school year.

Nearly 17,660 schools were ranked on six factors − college readiness, state assessment proficiency, state assessment performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth and graduation rate − based on their performance on state assessments and how well they prepare students for college.

According to the New Jersey Department of Education, the New Jersey Student Learning Assessments require high school students to be assessed in math, English, language arts and science.

The U.S. News Best High Schools rankings include data on nearly 25,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia, including New Jersey’s 426 high schools.
