This momentous occasion coincided with the 15th anniversary of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, making it an even more special celebration.
The unveiling ceremony was graced by distinguished dignitaries, Members of Parliament, and ministers, underscoring the immense global impact of Indian cinema. The focus on Yash Chopra’s legacy paid tribute to the filmmaker’s contribution to the industry and his status as the ‘god of romance’.
