EAST TROY, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin are asking the public to look for a piece of equipment that was stolen from a popular local park.
According to a release, the East Troy Police Department is searching for the Train Toy, which was stolen and was expected to be reinstalled at Jim Byrnes Memorial Park on Tuesday.

“It is extremely disappointing that someone would take equipment from our park that was intended for the use of all of the area children,” stated the East Troy Police Department on its social media page.
Officials are asking anyone living near the Jim Byrnes Memorial Park to check security cameras and contact the department at 262-642-3700.

Additionally, the local authorities are reviewing the camera footage of the park and the town hall, which generally gives a very clear picture.
“If you took it, please do the right thing and return it,” the East Troy Police Department concluded.
