A brush fire broke out along a highway on the outskirts of Denver on Tuesday, August 20, prompting officials to close US Route 6 near Clear Creek Canyon.
Footage filmed and posted to X by user @growyeown shows the Goltra fire burning next to a highway near Golden, Colorado, on Tuesday night. User @growyeown can be heard saying they can smell the smoke.
According to a local news report, the fire burned over 150 acres overnight and US Route 6 remains closed as of Wednesday.
