Shraddha Kapoor has had multiple successful films, yet she has never collaborated with either Shah Rukh, Salman, or Aamir Khan. Shraddha said in a recent interview that she has yet to work with Bollywood’s three Khans. Shraddha revealed that she had previously been offered films alongside SRK, Aamir, and Salman, but she was unable to accept them for a variety of reasons.
Shraddha Kapoor prioritizes exciting characters and challenging roles; says, “I’m very clear about the kind of work that I choose”
Shraddha said during a podcast with Shubhankar Mishra, as quoted by IANS, “Many times you are offered a film, but if you feel the character isn’t exciting enough or the role doesn’t challenge the artiste in you then you let go off that role. I’m very clear about the kind of work that I choose.”
She added, “I want to be part of good films, engaging films with good stories, work with good directors, and do good work. If the by-product of all of this is the opportunity to work with good actors or huge stars, I’m happy to say yes to it.”
On the work front, Shraddha Kapoor is now celebrating the success of Stree 2. The film, which starred Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi, opened on August 15 and impressed spectators. Stree 2, directed by Amar Kaushik, features Rajkummar and Shraddha reprising their roles from the first. The sequel continues the eerie story in the town of Chanderi, which is now tormented by a new terror known as Sarkata.
Stree 2 competed at the box office with Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s Vedaa. Despite this, Stree 2 managed to hold the audience’s attention. According to Sacnilk, Stree 2 has earned Rs 254.55 crore (net, early estimates) as of Day 6. The film is on track to outperform Kalki 2898 AD’s Hindi counterpart in terms of lifetime box office collections. Stree 2 is set to break that record by the weekend.
