WORCESTER — Two women were found stabbed to death in a Webster Square apartment building Saturday.
Investigators are looking for a Belmont Street man in connection with what authorities are terming a homicide investigation.
Police said the bodies were found about 1 p.m. in an apartment at 1060 Main St. That is the address of Webster Square Towers, a large apartment building for senior citizens, run by the Worcester Housing Authority.
Soon after officers arrived at the apartment, medical crews pronounced both women deceased.
Early Sunday, Worcester police issued a public alert for William Rodriguez, 60, with a last known address of 40 Belmont St. He is considered a person of interest.
“Rodriguez should be considered armed and dangerous,” the alert reads.
Police are asking anyone with information about Rodriguez to contact detectives at (508) 799-8651.
