Ayushmann Khurrana is one of the biggest stars in mainstream Bollywood. He has made it big in the tinsel town despite not having any godfather. It has now come to light that the actor had a massive showdown with the head honcho of Balaji Telefilms, Ektaa R Kapoor. In a birthday special interview with Audible called ‘Cracking The Code’, Ayushmann has looked back at the not-so-pleasant episode from the early days of his career.
As per the information and quotes sent by Audible, Ayushmann was pressurised into signing a long-term contract with Balaji Telefilms in exchange of his pending fees. “They threatened me that if I didn’t sign, I would never get the money,” said Ayushmann.
However, as per the information sent by Audible, the actor didn’t sign the contract, which left Ektaa furious and Ayushmann had to face serious threats. “When I left without signing the contract, I got to know that Ektaa threw a fit and smashed her mobile by hurling it at the executive producer’s face.”
Ayushmann added, “Since I hadn’t signed the contract, there was no legal action they could have taken, but the number of threatening calls and messages I received from them were quite intimidating. I was told that my career was finished, that I should not stay in Mumbai and simply pack my bags and go back to Chandigarh.”
