FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The three victims who died trapped in flames following a crash early Friday morning have been identified, according to the Fresno County Coroner’s Office.
The Coroner’s Office says 25-year-old Dario Urena, 21-year-old Syrus Suniga, and 27-year-old Joey Suniga Jr. died after colliding with a palm tree in Fresno County. The three victims were all from Kerman.
CHP says Urena was speeding down Kearney Boulevard toward Garfield Avenue before making an unsafe left turn and crossing into the westbound lane. The Honda Civic he was driving spun counterclockwise as it traveled off the roadway and onto the north shoulder.

The investigation is ongoing, but CHP says alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.
