In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, actor and singer Sparsh Shrivastava opened up about his latest song, ‘Saccha Wala Pyaar,’ and answered a few fun rapid-fire questions. The music video marks Sparsh’s second collaboration with actress Pratibha Ranta, following their critically acclaimed film Laaptaa Ladies earlier this year.

Chemistry with Pratibha Ranta
When asked about his on-screen chemistry with Pratibha, Sparsh was quick to compliment their rapport. “On camera or off camera, our chemistry is amazing,” he shared, hinting at the close bond the duo has developed while working together. However, in a light-hearted moment, Sparsh also revealed Pratibha’s most “annoying” habit, joking, “She slaps me for no reason.”
Music Playlist and Influences
Sparsh is known for his diverse taste in music, and during the interview, he shared the names of his current favourite artists. His playlist includes a variety of genres, with a notable focus on Rajasthan folk music. “I am listening to a lot of Rajasthan folk music, so I listen to Bhanwari Devi ji, Keethan Sivananthan, and Karan Aujla. Karan Aujla is my recent favourite,” he said. He also mentioned adding Tulsi to his list of go-to artists.
Excuses for a Bad Date
When it comes to escaping an unpleasant situation, Sparsh kept it real. “I am bad at lying, so I just simply say that I need to go to the loo,” he quipped when asked about his best excuse for getting out of a bad date.
Excitement for Honey Singh’s Upcoming Album
Sparsh also expressed his enthusiasm for Honey Singh’s upcoming album Millionaire. “I am looking forward to Honey Singh’s ‘Millionaire.’ I think he has really shaped himself well,” he said, sharing his admiration for the music icon’s work. Reflecting on the experience of shooting the music video for ‘Saccha Wala Pyaar,’ Sparsh described it as an enjoyable process, saying, “It was a fun shoot.”
