Hanumankind, a rising star from Kerala, ignited the stage with his infectious hip-hop track ‘Big Dawgs’. The song, which had recently stormed the Billboard Global 2024 charts, resonated with the crowd, prompting a wave of excitement and applause. As he performed, Prime Minister Modi watched with admiration, his presence adding to the electrifying atmosphere. The Nassau Coliseum event was a celebration of Indian culture and a testament to the talent and diversity of Indian artists. Over 15,000 members of the Indian diaspora from 42 different states gathered to welcome Prime Minister Modi, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere.
Traditional performances, such as Yakshagana from Karnataka and Kerala, Mallakhamb from Maharashtra, and the rhythmic beats of the Parai from Tamil Nadu, showcased the rich cultural heritage of India.
