RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA) has investigated an incident involving pepper spray that happened at a Rutherford County high school football game last Friday night.
The incident reportedly happened at a football game between Blackman High School and Oakland High School that was hosted at Blackman.

A spokesperson for Rutherford County Schools told News 2 that the TSSAA has requested statements from each high school and that the schools are expecting a report and recommended disciplinary actions from the TSSAA “later this week.”
Additionally, the spokesperson said that the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) is assisting with a criminal investigation. When News 2 reached out to RCSO, a spokesperson said that no further details could be released due to the ongoing nature of the investigation.
