EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Coronado High School was placed on a “hold protocol” on Wednesday, Sept. 25 after El Paso Independent School District (EPISD) Police officers responded to a report near the campus, according to the district.
The district said the hold protocol has been lifted and officers have ensured that all students and staff are safe.
The district sent the following statement:
El Paso ISD Police officers responded to a report near the Coronado High School campus. Out of an abundance of caution, the campus was placed on a HOLD protocol. The officers have ensured that all students and staff are safe. The protocol has been lifted.
The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority.
