Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, known for her impressive performances, is set to make a surprise cameo in Vasan Bala’s upcoming action-packed prison drama Jigra. Having previously collaborated with Bala on Monica, O My Darling and Netflix’s Ray, the two are back together for another exciting project. Vasan Bala has often praised Akansha, calling her one of his favourite actors, so it comes as no surprise that he wanted her in Jigra.

Jigra stars Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina in lead roles, but Akansha’s appearance as an air hostess in the trailer has already caught everyone’s attention. Her fun and quirky character brings a much-needed light-hearted moment to the intense prison drama, giving the film a delightful twist. Clad in a sharp air hostess uniform, Akansha’s radiant charm shines through her brief yet memorable role. Bala, known for unconventional casting choices, had her shoot the cameo in just one day, without even explaining the scene beforehand!
Apart from Jigra, Akansha is preparing for her South Indian film debut with MaayaOne, opposite Sundeep Kishan. She also has a slew of exciting OTT projects in the pipeline. With so much in store, fans are eagerly awaiting what’s next for this talented actress.
